Unscripted Community Unites as Brush Fires Sweep the Valley
November 16, 2018 | Realscreen: California is experiencing a record-setting wildfire season, with thousands of firefighters and members of the National Guard on site fighting fires that have thus far burned close to 600,000 acres. The death toll has now reached 63, according to current reports, with over 600 people still unaccounted for.Amid the tragedy and massive evacuations, the non-fiction film and television community has stood strong, with support coming from across the industry. ITV Tries to Solve Fallen Angel Case
November 14, 2018 | Realscreen: A&E has greenlit another six-episode spin-off of its flagship reality docuseries The First 48, set to premiere in 2019. The First 48 Presents: Homicide Squad Atlanta, by ITV Entertainment, will follow a group of detectives within the Atlanta Police Department as they band together to solve what’s known as the “Fallen Angel” case in Georgia’s capital, involving the murder of a young woman found naked and shot to death in a neighborhood park. night TV staple Jimmy Kimmel is partnering with Brent Montgomery and his Wheelhouse Entertainment to establish the “creative lab”, Kimmelot, that will operate in the unscripted, scripted, mobile and digital spaces from Los Angeles. 3 Ball and FB Watch Team Up for World's Most Amazing Dog

Facebook users submit an “audition” video of their pet, which a group of judges and the global Facebook community will vote and decide who will win US$100,000 and the title of World’s Most Amazing Dog. Snapped Milestone Reaches Jupiter
November 8, 2018 | Realscreen: It started in 2004. And on November 11, fourteen years and 24 seasons later, Jupiter Entertainment's Snapped will see its 400th episode across Oxygen. The series currently airs in more than 150 countries worldwide and features non-fiction narratives of women who have been convicted or accused of committing murder or attempted murder.

Love Gives Music to Netflix; Stephen David Goes to Jonestown for Sundance TV
