May 6, 2019 | Hollywood Reporter: RuPaul's Drag Race leads the nominations for the inaugural Critics' Choice Real TV Awards, which "recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms." The show — presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association and NPACT, the trade organization serving the producers of nonfiction entertainment content — will air on VH1 on Sunday, June 9. The show itself will take place Sunday, June 2, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

April 19, 2019 | Los Angeles: Coming off close of submissions, the inaugural Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards has garnered from networks, streaming platforms and producers more than 500 submissions across 26 categories for the new awards program. Winners will be announced at the ceremony on June 2 in Beverly Hills. In a joint statement, Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards Executive Producers Bob Bain and Joey Berlin, and NPACT General Manager John Ford, said, “The number of submissions for this inaugural awards show exceeded our expectations and is a testament to the quality, quantity and diversity of nonfiction, unscripted and reality content.” READ MORE.

April 3, 2019 | Los Angeles: NPACT's inaugural Content Tech kicked off in Los Angeles. New products were unveiled and there was a presentation on how to budget and plan workflow for shooting and posting in 4K.
