2020 Critics Choice Real TV Awards

The CCRA Peer-Voted Awards were voted on by NPACT Member Companies. The winners were announced on June 29, 2020. Here are the 2020 Peer-Voted Recipients and Nominees:
Impact Award
Awarded to an individual who is inspirational in his/her long-term achievement, excellence, and innovation in the Nonfiction Content industry.
​This individual can be on-camera talent, a producer, network executive – anyone who stands out as an inspiration to peers and the public through their career achievements in the Nonfiction industry.

The 2020 Impact Award recipient is:
Jeff Probst

Survivor host and executive producer Jeff Probst received this year’s Critics Choice Real TV Impact Award, for his ongoing contributions to the unscripted television industry. Probst is a four-time Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Reality Host. He has traveled the world serving as both host and executive producer for Survivor, which won the first-ever Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Special Class) Emmy Award in 2001. This year marked the 20th anniversary of Survivor and its 40th season!

Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Production
Awarded to a production company that had the biggest positive impact on Nonfiction in the last year in excellence and innovation in show creation and production.
