Following Merger of Nonfiction Producers Association (NPA) and PactUS, NPACT Adds Six New Members, Announces New Board of Directors and Executive Committee
Arrow Media, Bomanbridge Media, CJ E&M, Revolution Entertainment Services, Super Delicious and Ugly Brother Studios Join NPACT
November 2, 2017 |NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES: Formed in June through the merging of the Nonfiction Producers Association (NPA) and PactUS – the two major trade organizations created to serve the producers of non-fiction entertainment content – NPACT today announced its new board of directors and executive committee, as well as five new production company members and one new associate member. NPACT General Manager John Ford made the announcement.
Joining NPACT are production companies Arrow Media (See No Evil); Bomanbridge Media (Haute & Saucy); CJ E&M (Better Late than Never); Super Delicious (Cupcake Wars); and Ugly Brother Studios (Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse); and new associate member Revolution Entertainment Services.
NPACT’s new board of directors and executive committee reflect the larger, newly merged organization that now represents 90 production companies and 11 associate members, which are service providers to the unscripted industry.
Said Ford, “We’ve come a very long way in three short years in service of the talented, creative entrepreneurs who are the life force of the unscripted content business. From eight founding member companies, NPACT has grown to include more than 100; we take great pride in being a voice for the nonfiction creative community, as well as a forum for shared insights that can help producers expand their businesses, and for discussion on our quickly changing media environment. We congratulate and welcome our new members, board and executive committee.”
